Nitin Chandrakant Desai is a multi-award winning Art Director and Production Designer based in Mumbai. His professional landscape demands a keen sense for design, an eye for colour and composition. As he journeyed into art direction and production design he shifted from 2D to 3D. Wider and vast canvasses began to look him in the eye. The task was daunting but Nitin Desai was always up to the challenge. He carefully collected bits of his art and craft that he had imbibed along the way and learnt to incorporate it into the collaborative effort of filmmaking. Nitin Desai strongly believes that a film has many dimensions and in order to express them a strong aesthetic and visual sensibility is foremost. His approach to the entire process of comprehending film begins with a detailed study of the script and numerous discussions with the filmmaker which enables him to understand the soul of the film better.
